**This position will not be considered for hybrid work or remote work
o Responsible for planning, scheduling, leading, managing, and following all phases of design, detail, check, release, and follow up on projects assigned.
o Researches and analyzes customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of design or applications.
o Performs engineering duties for planning and designing functioning equipment.
o Oversees installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
o Advanced knowledge of recent software such as Computer Added Design (CAD) systems.
o Solidworks & Autodesk
o Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows XP or higher
o Project/customer will vary from Nissan, GM, Cummins, Ford, or Rivian
o Travel to customer facilities is required. This role requires person to be on the customer floor a lot.
o Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or equivalent in education and/or experience required
o Experience in design and build of Assembly and or Test Machines Systems preferred
o Experience with mechanical mechanisms, machinery, transmissions, engine assembly and test systems preferred
