BiW Tool / Machine CADD Designer

 

ACCOUNTABILITES & RESPONSIBILITIES

-Designer of high precision automotive tooling for MIG and spot-welding assembly lines

-Provide /check a detail material, bill of materials, purchase items, dimensions and tolerances to provide a quality and efficient product to the customer

-Provided technical direction to detailers / drafters to ensure consistency and accuracy in work

-Implemented new sample and production tool designs to customer specification and tooling standards

-Designed pneumatic and cable hoist tools, ergonomic load assists for automotive assembly lines

-Size pneumatic cylinders to compensate for forces exerted during product assembly

 

EXPERIENCE – WORK/SOFTWARE

-Software: Autodesk, Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Unigraphics, Mechanical Desktop, CATIA

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)

-CADD Software Training required

-High School Diploma

-Minimum 3 years BiW Experience
